Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island Launches Tourism Experience in Metaverse

Yas Island has recently introduced a new virtual platform that enables tourists from around the world to experience the emirate’s famous landmarks. 

By using digital avatars, users can explore various cultural sites and attractions and get a glimpse of Abu Dhabi’s status as a top tourist destination. This innovative initiative is a result of the collaboration between DCT Abu Dhabi, Aldar, Miral, twofour54, and Ethara.

Super League developed the virtual Yas Island experience and broke through on Roblox, accessible at Yas Island Tycoon – Roblox. Users can explore various Abu Dhabi landmarks, including SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Yas Marina Circuit, Etihad Park, Aldar Square, twofour54’s Yas Creative Hub, and an Experience Abu Dhabi dedicated area featuring Louvre Abu Dhabi, Mamsha Al Saadiyat, Sir Bani Yas Island, Al Ain Oasis and Al Jahili Fort. The virtual site spans 25 square kilometers and offers a fun and interactive environment for users to explore and learn about these locations.

Users can explore and create cultural and entertainment destinations in Abu Dhabi through a mix of interactive experiences, games, immersive environments, and unique events. As players navigate through the virtual world and its attractions, they will encounter exciting adventures like theme park rides, racing on Yas Island, and building virtual homes. Each player’s journey is personalized with customizable avatars and surprise rewards. The gamified experience will constantly expand with new partnerships and experiences.
