Binance Labs Invests in Delphinus Lab’s zkWASM Technology

Binance Labs, the venture capital and incubation division of Binance, has recently invested in Delphinus Lab. Delphinus Lab is an infrastructure provider leading the way in the zkWASM field.

This investment is expected to bring in a new era of Web3 applications, providing greater security, privacy, and flexibility for developers and end users.

The Delphinus Lab has developed and launched the initial open-source zkWASM virtual machine. This technology combines zero-knowledge (ZK) cryptography with WebAssembly (WASM) environments. WASM is a virtual machine developed by Google, Mozilla, Microsoft, and Apple in 2017. It allows code to run natively on browsers, making it easy for developers to use popular programming languages.

Delphinus Lab is improving the security and privacy of applications by combining ZK-proof technology with WASM. This will help create a decentralized and trustless digital ecosystem.

Binance Labs has invested funds to help support the continued development of Delphinus Lab’s zkWASM-based application rollup platform, known as zkWASM Hub. This platform offers automated proving and batching services for application workloads and customizable WASM extensions. Additionally, it enables developers to distribute their GitHub applications onto zkWASM Hub through an auto compilation and updating service.

The partnership between Binance Labs and Delphinus Lab emphasizes the growing significance of zkWASM technology in upcoming Web3 applications. The combination of ZK-proof technology and WASM’s adaptability and ease of use presents new opportunities for developers and users, leading to a more secure, confidential, and distributed digital realm.
