Ducati Marks 1st Entry in Web3 by Collaboration with NFT PRO

The Italian motorcycle-manufacturing company Ducati marked its first entry into the Web3 world through its collaboration with NFT PRO, a corporate white-label NFT solution. 

Ducati partnered with NFT PRO to launch the first NFT collection on the XRP Ledger, a decentralized public blockchain network. In a press release, Ducati said a series of Web3 activities will be launched within the coming few months in a sign that shows the importance of the digital world for the experiences it offers for the fans of the motorcycle manufacturing company. 

Ducati’s next Web3 projects will be deployed using Ripple, the pioneering blockchain partner providing technical support on the ultra-fast, low-cost, and carbon-neutral XRP Ledger (XRPL) blockchain, according to the press release. 

In this regard, Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali said: “Entering WEB 3.0 is another way to get closer to the Ducatisti community by further extending the number of services offered to them. It also represents an opportunity to meet and make ourselves known to a new community of NFT enthusiasts, giving them the opportunity to live unique Ducati-style experiences and collect the digital assets that we will develop exclusively for this new dimension of the brand.” 

Meanwhile, CEO of NFT PRO™ Christian Ferri described the collaboration as a dream, expressing his excitement about introducing the well-known brand to a whole new audience, adding: “We’re extremely proud to be a critical part of Ducati’s NFT launch and look forward to creating more cool projects for their fans to engage with.” 

In a report by Ripple’s XRP Markets, the XRP Ledger transactions in the first quarter of 2023 increased by 9% compared to the previous quarter in 2022 from 106 million to 116 million.
