Multinational conglomerate company Alphabet expanded the Google Web3 startup program to include more blockchain companies to help the startups, Cointelegraph reported.
Now, the Google for Startups Cloud Program includes 11 Web3 firms of Nansen, Polygon, Alchemy, Base, Celo, Flow, Hedera, Aptos, Near, Solana and Thirdweb. The latest of these announcements was made by Nansen when it said it has teamed up with Google Cloud to offer real-time, high-quality blockchain data to projects which are covered by Google’s Web4 startup program.
Nansen pointed out that its analytical platform has dashboards that cover tokens, DeFi and NFTs, empowered by over 250 million wallet labels.
In this regard, CEO of Nansen Alex Svanevik said: “Nansen is thrilled to join forces with Google to offer the next generation of web3 builders the highest quality blockchain data for their needs.”
Google Cloud has two products for Web3 startups. The pre-seed startups can get a fund worth $2,000 valid for two years with access to participation in several events, like Paris Blockchain Week, TOKEN2049 Singapore, and Consensus, in which Google takes part.
As for the seeded startups, they can receive up to $200,000 from Google Cloud and 12 months of free Google Workspace Business Plus in addition to grants of up to $1 million whether in token or fiat from Web3 projects, such as HBAR Foundation, Flow, Aptos, Solana Foundation, Celo, and Near.
Also, Polygon Ventures can grant funding worth up to $3 million for seeded startups.
For his part, Engineering Director of Web3 at Google Cloud James Tromas stressed Google Clould’s commitment to supporting the growth of the Web3 ecosystem and the expansion of the Google for Startups Cloud Program to the Web3 community to achieve its goal of equipping blockchain developers with the tools they need to succeed.
“By teaming up with Web3 innovators like Nansen, we can offer unique benefits including technical resources, access to the community, and discounts to Web3 startups so they can build and scale their projects,” Tromas added.
