NFT Sales Increased around 10% over Past Week

The NFT sales over the past week witnessed a slight increase, as they went up by about 10%, recording 9.91% according to Cryptoslam, an NFT data aggregator. 

Over the past seven days, the NFT sales amounted to more than $149.470 million, over $108.905 million of which were from the Ethereum blockchain, an 33.41% up from the previous week.

Out of the top 20 blockchains, Ethereum had the lion’s share of the NFT sales seven days ago, accounting for more than 72% of the total sales. 

While Solana came in second place in terms of NFT sales, accounting for only 7% of the total sales ($10.471 million), 52.93% down from the previous week. 

Blockchains of Mythos Chain, Polygon, Immutable X, BNB Chain, Cardano, and Arbitrum followed Solana regarding the total sales over the past week, respectively, Bitcoin News quoted data from CryptoSlam. 

Surprisingly, this week saw remarkable changes in the NFT collections which saw high sales over the past week. Azuki NFT’s sales grew up by 598.06% in the last seven days, with an increase in total transactions and sellers. 

Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) sales went up by over 71% and the same for Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), Cryptopunks, and Milady Maker, which saw a 656.03% increase in sales. 

Regarding the NFT price floor, Bored Ape Yacht Club is still in second place in terms of the highest floor value at $87,993 ETH, following CryptoPunks, whose floor was just $97,687 ETH, according to data from nftpricefloor.com.

The most expensive NFT sold last week was BAYC #811, which sold for $625.825 million. This sale was followed by Sandbox’s LANDs #139686, which sold for $580.383 million, BAYC #6774 sold for $501.845 million, and Otherdeed Expanded #5227 sold for $501.845 million.

As for the NFT marketplaces, Blur is still the leading NFT marketplace followed by OpenSea. Blur’s sales over the past week reached $108.78 million, while the sales on OpenSea were $24.82 million.
