NFT Sales of Past Week Went down 18%



The NFT sales over the past week witnessed a remarkable increase, as they went down by around 18%, recording 17.85% according to Cryptoslam, an NFT data aggregator. 

Over the past seven days, the NFT sales amounted to more than $176.891 million, over $97.464 million of which were from the Ethereum blockchain, an 2.71% down from the previous week.

Out of the top 20 blockchains, Ethereum had the lion’s share of the NFT sales seven days ago, accounting for more than 55% of the total sales. 

While Bitcoin came in second place in terms of NFT sales for the second week in a row, accounting for nearly 24% of the total sales ($43.142 million), a 39.51% incline from the previous week. 

Most of the blockchains over the past week saw a decrease in sales. Blockchains of Bitcoin, Solana, Mythos Chain, Immutable X, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Cardano followed Mythos Chain regarding the total sales over the past week, respectively. 

Most of the NFT collections witnessed a decrease in their sales, except Space Pepes NFT collection, which grew up by more than 60%. Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) sales went down by around 39% and the same for Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), DMarket, and Uncateogratized Ordinals

Regarding the NFT price floor, Bored Ape Yacht Club is still in second place in terms of the highest floor value at $83,041.5 ETH, following CryptoPunks, whose floor was just $88,457 ETH, according to data from

The most expensive NFT sold last week was BAYC #4980, which sold for nearly $1 million. The following top expensive NFTs sold over the past seven days were sold from $283 million and downwards. 

As for the NFT marketplaces, Blur leads the NFT marketplaces followed by OpenSea. Blur’s sales over the past week reached $106.55 million, while the sales on OpenSea were $44.68 million.
