NFT Seoul Conference To Tackle Monetizing Digital Assets in Web3

The Seoul Conference, set to take place on Friday at Coex in southern Seoul, will explore the relationship between NFTs, digital assets like art, and the Web3 framework.

The event is being organized by The Korea Herald, the largest English daily in the nation, along with ArtToken, an NFT-based art marketplace, and Soongsil University, based in Seoul.

Other notable partners include Crypto.com, Blockchain Today, and Blooming Beat. NFTs provide a new way for creators, artists, and industries to authenticate, sell, and manage digital assets. In the Web3 environment, where decentralized platforms are crucial, NFTs offer a secure way to verify and trade digital assets.

In a series of 14 sessions divided into three parts, blockchain experts, Web3, security token offerings (STOs), and intellectual property will explore the latest developments, innovations, and regulations in the decentralized space. They will also discuss the global status of STOs, token-based fundraising mechanisms, and what the future holds for virtual assets.

The first session, titled “The Web3 Era: Directions and New Possibilities of NFTs,” will feature a keynote speech by Patrick Yoon, CEO of Cyrpto.com Korea, on the future of the Web3 era. Choo Seon-woo, CEO of iStaging Asia, will discuss how high-value properties can be monetized and secured digitally using “Luxury IP.” Park Min-woo, CEO of Galaxy Corp., will present concepts of the metaverse, while Shin Young-sun, CEO of Hello Web3, will delve into the relationship between NFTs and Web3. Kim Min-suk, CEO of T-Max Metaverse, will cover “Web3 Business Through Super Apps.”

In the event’s second session, entitled “The Utilization and Role of NFT Art in the Future Art,” the former CEO of CJ Olive Networks, Cha In-hyuk, will discuss the role of artificial intelligence in art. Anndy Lian will present investment perspectives in NFT-based art.

The third session will discuss the current state of the STO market in the country, as well as industry-specific strategies for STOs.
