Past Week Saw Increase in NFT Sales

The NFT sales over the past week witnessed a remarkable increase, as they went up by over 30%, recording 30.53%% according to Cryptoslam, an NFT data aggregator.
Over the past seven days, the NFT sales amounted to more than $207.333, million, over $111.375 million of which were from the Ethereum blockchain, an 13.94% up from the previous week.
Out of the top 20 blockchains, Ethereum had the lion’s share of the NFT sales seven days ago, accounting for more than 53% of the total sales.
While Bitcoin came in second place in terms of NFT sales, accounting for 24% of the total sales ($51.808 million), a 154.71% increase from the previous week.
Blockchain of Mythos Chain recorded a 70% increase in terms of sales, hitting $11.968 million.
Blockchains of Solana, Polygon, Immutable X, BNB Chain, and Cardano followed Mythos Chain regarding the total sales over the past week, respectively.

Bitcoin’s sales grew up by 458.82% in the last seven days, with an increase in total transactions and sellers.
Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) sales went up by only 26% and the same for Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), DMarket, and Milady Maker.
Regarding the NFT price floor, Bored Ape Yacht Club is still in second place in terms of the highest floor value at $83,570 ETH, following CryptoPunks, whose floor was just $90,223 ETH, according to data from nftpricefloor.com.
The most expensive NFT sold last week was Space Pepes, which sold for more than $4.568 million. The following top expensive NFTs sold over the past seven days were from the Uncategorized Ordinals collection.
As for the NFT marketplaces, Blur is still the leading NFT marketplace followed by OpenSea. Blur’s sales over the past week reached $117.01 million, while the sales on OpenSea were $47.1 million.
