Solana’s NFT Sales of Past Week Hiked over 326%

The NFT sales over the past week witnessed a remarkable increase, as they went up by around 94%, recording 93.38% according to Cryptoslam, an NFT data aggregator. 

Over the past seven days, the NFT sales amounted to more than $279.827 million, over $178.820 million of which were from the Ethereum blockchain, a 115.66% increase from the previous week.

Out of the top 20 blockchains, Ethereum had the lion’s share of the NFT sales seven days ago, accounting for around 64% of the total sales. 

Surprisingly, Solana, this week, surpassed Bitcoin in terms of sales, accounting for nearly 16% of the total sales ($42.002 million), a 326.65% up from the previous week. 

The top four blockchains over the past week saw a hike in sales. Blockchains of Bitcoin, Polygon, Immutable X, Mythos Chain, BNB Chain, and Cardano followed Solana regarding the total sales over the past week, respectively. 

The top ten NFT collections witnessed a growth in their sales, except for Gods Unchained Cards. Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), and Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) witnessed an increase in their sales, while Uncateogratized Ordinals increased by nearly 100% over the past week. 

Regarding the NFT price floor, Bored Ape Yacht Club is still in second place in terms of the highest floor value at $57,188, following CryptoPunks, whose floor was just $85,575, according to data from nftpricefloor.com.

The most expensive NFT sold last week was from the Uncateogratized Ordinals collection, which was sold for $2.2 million. The following top expensive NFTs sold over the past seven days were sold from $832 million to downwards. 

As for the NFT marketplaces, Blur leads the NFT marketplaces followed by OpenSea. Blur’s sales over the past week reached $193.01 million, while the sales on OpenSea were $53.48 million.
