Visa Masters of Movement
Visa, the official payment service partner of FIFA, announced a hybrid auction that intermixes NFTs, football, and art, named Visa Masters of Movement as a new captivating event for the fans of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The Visa Masters of Movement features digital art, which includes distinguished NFTs inspired by fabled goals of five legendary footballers, which are available on Crypto.com, the official cryptocurrency trading platform sponsor of the FIFA championship.
The five legendary footballers are Maxi Rodriguez, Michael Owen, Jared Borgetti, Carli Lloyd, and Tim Cahill.
Later this month, these NFTs will be showcased live at the FIFA Fan Festival in the Qatari capital of Doha. Fans will be allowed to turn their own signature movements into digital art. This digital art could be minted into NFTs for eligible fans in partnership with Crypto.com.
Football fans can join the bid that started today till November 8 on Crypto.com. In cooperation with XK Studios, these NFTs will be dynamic artworks as the winner of the auction will receive the NFT in his Crypto.com wallet, signed by the legendary footballer, who is displayed on the NFT.
In this regard, Visa Senior Vice president and Head of Sponsorships Andrea Fairchild said his company wants to make this edition of the World Cup to be very special by fusing NFTs, art, and football.
Meanwhile, Chief Marketing Officer at Crypto.com Steven Kalifowitz expressed his excitement to give the World Cup fans a new way to interact with the most expected sporting event in the world.
“We are thrilled to partner with Visa in bringing Visa Masters of Movement to life and offering fans the opportunity to create and collect the most unique collectibles at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ that will live forever on the blockchain,” Kalifowitz said.
From November 19 to December 18, Visa will invite thousands of fans to turn their legendary movements into digital art at the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha. The fans’ movements will be captured and transformed into digital art through a digital LED pitch outfitted with tracking technology. Fans will select the color scheme based on their favorite national colors for their dynamic artwork to be minted into a distinctive NFT.
