In light of its growing popularity over the past two years, several Arab artists realized the importance of representing Muslims in the NFT world. One of the most significant Arabs who realized this matter at an early stage is Canadian-Lebanese rapper Karter Zaher.&nbsp;



Who Is Karter Zaher?&nbsp;



Born and raised in Canada, Zaher is a well-known rapper of Lebanese origins. He is a part of a hip-hop band named Deen Squad. Although being raised in Canada, Zaher is keen on empowering Muslim communities in all fields, especially NFTs.&nbsp;



How Was His Beginning with NFTs?&nbsp;



After the wide spread of digital collectibles worldwide, Zaher and his spouse Doaa Al Hawamdeh started researching and reading about this field to begin their investments in it. They noticed that there are no NFT projects which are consistent with Islamic beliefs and values.&nbsp;

Therefore, Zaher and his wife decided to launch their first NFT project to empower the Muslim community titled &#8220;<a target="_blank" href="https://upyo.com/ar/nft/collections/hijabiqueens" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hijabi Queens &amp; Bearded Kings</a>.&#8221;&nbsp;



What Is Hijabi Queens &amp; Bearded Kings?&nbsp;



It is an NFT collection consisting of 5,000 images of hijabi queens and 5,000 images of bearded kings. Owning one of these NFTs allows its holder access to the HQ club. The club is being built by passionate women and it serves as a network for Muzzy entrepreneurs and creators to thrive. The metaverse of this collection is called MuzzyVerse.&nbsp;



Zaher sees that the amazing thing in this project is that it is a way to create a new community of Muslim men and women on the blockchain legally having its world and economy.&nbsp;

Zaher is keen on rendering his NFT project successful to create a space for Muslims in this domain. So he cooperates with the Council on American‑Islamic Relations to promote Islam and change Muslim&#8217;s big picture.&nbsp;

Karter Zaher… Lebanese Rapper Represented Muslims in NFT World

An NFT project that features prominent leaders in the Muslim world had been launched by the Argentinian entrepreneur Juan Pablo Laco known as Juampi Laco. It is called the Walows of Islam, according to Khaleej Times.



The NFT collection, created by Walow company, a Latin American-based company, includes 33 artworks of the most influential leaders in the modern Islamic world such as King Salman bin Abdelaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, King Abdallah II of Jordan, Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa and his father Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.



The Walows of Islam paid tribute to late leaders who contributed to the Islamic world like the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of the UAE, and the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the former president of the UAE.

The NFT collection is being promoted on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram, in which users are interacting with them to decide their favorite pieces for them through polls. The first three NFT pieces, which gained the highest interactions, will be auctioned at the Arts and Gems store at the Wafi Mall in Dubai for two weeks only with high expectations to be sold.



Walow&#8217;s team worked to make the Walows of Islam the most luxurious, exclusive, and unique NFT Islam collection in history by creating various designs and adding specific details that represent the aforementioned leaders.



The Latin American company also launched an NFT collection related to the World Cup that features players from different teams like Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, DiMaría, Mbappe, and others within the Walow&#8217;s ecosystem.

Latin American Firm Launches NFT Collection for Islamic Leaders

The Bahrain Football Association signed a partnership agreement with Zamzam, the first Arab Sharia-compliant cryptocurrency, on launching the first non-fungible tokens collection, set to be allocated for the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League.



The first-of-its-kind agreement in the Middle East was signed by President of the Bahrain Football Association Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Hamed Fakhro, ZamZam&#8217;s founder and CEO.



Under this deal, the first NFT collection for an Arab football league will be launched in addition to setting up an NFT collection for the Bahraini teams participating in the league.



According to the agreement, Zamzam will present NFT prizes during the league&#8217;s matches, including the best player of the round or best goalkeeper of the round award. These awards will be handed over to the players as NFTs.

Sheikh Ali pointed out that the agreement would give momentum to the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League and encourage the Bahrainis to come back to the stadiums to support their beloved teams and get NFT prizes, which will be announced soon.



&#8220;Our main goal is to increase the attendance rates for the matches in the league and improve the level of the Bahraini league in general,&#8221; he concluded.



The new project comes as a part of a series of distinguished projects launched by Bahrain in the metaverse world, including the expected launch of the Middle East’s first sports NFT collection in Bahrain related to combat.



Zamzam coin, the first Arab Sharia-compliant cryptocurrency, was created in November of last 2021. The Zamzam coin market for NFTs is also the first Arab-Islamic market dedicated to Islamic NFTs around the world, which was launched in May 2022.
