Sega, a well-known video game company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Line Next, a mobile messaging firm Line division, to develop a Web3 game for the blockchain gaming platform Game Dosi.



Under the MoU, Line Next will utilize one of SEGA’s immensely popular game IPs and develop it into a Web3 game. Through this collaboration, Line Next will display the new title GAME DOSI and support NFT production, digital payments, and marketing activities. This partnership comes as a part of Line Next&#8217;s plan to popularize Web3 gaming, Line Next said in a press release.



In this regard, CEO of Line Next Youngsu Ko said: &#8220;LINE NEXT is pleased to be teaming up with SEGA to bring some exciting gaming to the Web3 space for gamers around the world. Through this partnership, GAME DOSI will provide Web3 content that anyone can easily enjoy, including SEGA fans.&#8221;



Launched in May, GAME DOSI is a <a href="https://upyo.com/en/news/tags/web3-projects">Web3 projects</a> gaming platform that provides user- and game-centered services under the slogan &#8220;Gamer First, Web3 Next.&#8221;



It is worth mentioning that Sega has stepped back from developing NFT projects for its Sonic The Hedgehog and Yakuza franchises, however, it collaborated with third parties like Line Next to embrace the Web3 industry. Sega&#8217;s decision to withdraw comes in terms of crimes, rug pulls, and scams increasingly happening in the crypto world and it wants to avoid any harm that could affect its beloved games and characters.



According to data gathered from Google Trends, which focuses on the relative interest in terminology relating to Web3 games, the report found that the UAE is one of the most important distinct markets in the Web3 industry, along with China and Vietnam, which witnessed a decline.

The main goal of First Arabs is to support disadvantaged Arab communities as a large portion of the profits will be distributed to high-impact charitable organizations, which work on combating hunger and disease, empowering youth, and helping refugees.



The collection&#8217;s primary sales are set to be donated at key milestones, in addition to profits of the secondary sales and profits from future projects and activations.&nbsp;



The founders of the NFT project wish to build a community that brings people closer together and shares Arab culture across the world. Moreover, the First Arabs signed a partnership agreement with UNHCR to reconsider the NFTs&#8217; role in influencing the real world.&nbsp;

The First Arabs Aims To Support Disadvantaged Communities

Over the past two years, the crypto scene saw several NFT projects which embodied many world&#8217;s peoples. The Middle East region was not isolated from these projects as it witnessed the launch of the Retired Arab NFT collection, which we will go into it in detail in the following lines.&nbsp;



What Is Retired Arab?&nbsp;



It is an NFT collection that includes 100 unique digital collectibles. Launched in March 2022, Each NFT is based on an imaginative character of an Arab person sitting and enjoying his coffee. Each NFT comes with a video enabling its owner to see his character from all angles.&nbsp;



Although the NFTs look similar in facial features, and way of sitting and drinking coffee, each one differs in terms of the costumes they wear, as well as the collectibles they have.&nbsp;

The founder of this NFT collection is Ahmed Al-Refaie, a Kuwaiti illustrator and graphic designer. Refaie succeeded in becoming one of the most famous artists in the Arab world in a very short time due to his artworks inspired by the Middle East&#8217;s culture and traditions in a contemporary way.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He managed to achieve wide popularity in the NFT world after joining it in December 2021. He draw a digital painting and sold it in a short period. He released his first NFT project under the title of &#8220;Badr and Aya&#8221;, who are two fictional characters inspired by the Middle East. Then he launched the Retired Arab collection.&nbsp;

Crypto Arabs: How Did Cartoon Show’s Characters Turned into NFTs

In light of the launch of several metaverse platforms over the past months, many Arab users saw that these virtual worlds and what they include with avatars and practices are not compatible with their societies&#8217; traditions and habits.&nbsp;



Hence Doaa Al Hawamdeh and Karter Zaher launched a new NFT collection, titled&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://upyo.com/ar/nft/collections/hijabiqueens" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hijabi Queens &amp; Bearded Kings</a>&nbsp;to pave the way for debuting a virtual space representing Muslims and expressing their habits and traditions.&nbsp;



What Is Hijabi Queens &amp; Bearded Kings?&nbsp;



It is an NFT collection consisting of 5,000 images of hijabi queens and 5,000 images of bearded kings. Owning one of these NFTs allows its holder access to the HQ club. The club is being built by passionate women and it serves as a network for Muzzy entrepreneurs and creators to thrive. The metaverse of this collection is called MuzzyVerse.&nbsp;



Who Are The Founders of This Collection?&nbsp;



The NFT collection was founded by Doaa Al Hawamdeh and her husband Karter Zaher. Both are of Arab origin and live in the United States. They started their journey after realizing that Muslims were not well-represented in the Web 3.0 world.&nbsp;

While inspecting the NFT projects, they did not find any projects which are compatible with the Arab community&#8217;s values, a matter which made them think about launching an NFT collection that represents Muslims well.&nbsp;



According to them, they are building a safe haven in their metaverse, where its community members can learn, play, trade, buy digital assets and customize their avatars.&nbsp;

The collection enjoys 5,000 hijabi queens wearing hijabs in different ways and colors with various facial expressions in addition to 5,000 bearded kings, who have different skin colors and facial expressions.&nbsp;

The founders of the digital collectibles aim to represent Muslims in the metaverse well, setting up avatars representing Muslims in addition to creating a legal community of Muslim men and women on the blockchain, which has its private economy and situation.&nbsp;

What Are The Goals of The Collection?&nbsp;



The founders of Queen Mode announced a galaxy of the collection&#8217;s goals, mainly creating a community of like-minded women through which they can connect and uplift each other and attracting women to the Web 3.0 world by offering the opportunities to get familiar with the coming generation of the internet and its features.&nbsp;



The goals include providing tangible value, as each token holder in this group has full ownership of their token and can use it commercially, supporting emerging businesses as each token holder has the opportunity to showcase his works on the Queen Mode platform, which gathers a large and influential group of investors and business leaders, a matter which will lead to exploring more opportunities and enhancing cooperation.



The collection has also social purposes as a percentage of the collection&#8217;s proceeds will be donated to support women&#8217;s charitable causes.&nbsp;
